Personal Bio:

               Shay is originally from Houston, Texas (USA) and began his golf career at the age of 13.  He has been teaching the game of golf for over 20 years from beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.  Shay has been a Class A USPGA member for 21 years and involved with several leading Golf Academies at different facilities in the United States, China and Hong Kong.  Shay is currently the S2 Golf Academy Director and teaching at Queenstown Harbour and Severna Park Golf Center in Maryland.

Coaching Highlights:

               It has been a privilege to develop and learn from all ranges of players throughout their golfing careers.  I have especially enjoyed teaching and coaching some great junior players, who went on towards achieving their goals of playing collegiate golf and amateur golf.  Teaching and coaching have been a passion of mine since I was a junior golfer assisting in junior clinics and instruction.  I then went on to run a Junior tour, create Junior specific learning programs, and finally work within junior preparatory golf academies focusing on long term player development.  This was a major foundation for me in creating the S2 Golf Academy.  Through this Academy I hope to pass on the skills learned from my experiences within the realm of tournament and competitive golf; building "Competitors with Character"
